HoYoverse recently published a “Voice of the Galaxy” developer blog to inform Honkai: Star Rail players of their upcoming plans. One of them was a response to feedback concerning Seele’s ultimate animation. For those unfamiliar with this force of nature, Seele is a Quantum damage type character who moves at light-speed to quickly eliminate her enemies with her ultimate ability “Butterfly Flurry.” She is currently one of the highest damage dealing five star heroes in the game and her flashy combat style can be a bit much when playing at 2x speed.
The devs received enough player feedback regarding the brightness of Butterfly Flurry to take a second look and optimize the animation. In addition, there are plans to implement new options under settings to help players personalize their experience. Since this featured requires extra development time and testing, you shouldn’t count on it being in the next big update (version 1.1).
Other bits of juicy info include mention of an in-game chat feature and even better character facial expressions in camera mode. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any new information on features mentioned in this article. Until then, us Trailblazers will have to throw on a pair of sunglasses and watch those damage numbers roll.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for PC and mobile devices. Playstation versions are currently in development.
